Am 16./17. Januar 2012 fand im japanischen Nagoya ein Workshop zum Einfluss der Sonne auf das Erdklima statt. Hierbei diskutierten namhafte Wissenschaftler die Variabilität der Sonnenaktivität sowie Solarverstärker-Modelle über die solar-gesteuerte kosmische Strahlung und die UV-Strahlung (siehe Kapitel 6 in „Die kalte Sonne“). Judith Curry fasst in Ihrem Blog „Climate Etc.“ die wichtigsten Ergebnisse der Tagung ausgezeichnet zusammen und weist auch auf unser Buch hin. Auch EIKE und WUWT berichteten über die Tagung.
